Im new to all of this and everyone has been supportive thus far (I just had to sidestep my parents for now)but I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice. I know that it is important to read everything possible and Im trying( is Sexy Witch by LaSara W. FireFox a good book). I have learned alot but advice from hedge witches that have been involved for a while would be awsome. Thanks!!

What I tend to look for in books is a respectable title and author. The author I avoid is Silver Ravenwolf; her books seem interesting, but they have a lot of false facts and they contradict themselves. Compare two of her books on the same subject and you'll quickly see what I mean. Some books I enjoyed are "Exploring Wicca", "Common myths about Wicca", "Secrets of Shamanism"(if you're interested), and the series "Earth, Water, Fire, Air"(the titles might be different). That last one is so far only two books, but the first is the knowledge and experience of a young man, while the second is more refined (he explains everything in his intro.) with new sections and a wider scope of things that covers almost all the possible groups of Wicca/Paganism.
