i would really apreciate someone being able to help me learn more about wicca. if someone could please email me some information or just lead me in the right direction it would be much appreciated, theres not really anyone i can talk to about this kind of thing. |

Hi Hannah. You certainly don't have to be born a witch. We all have the powers that are necessary to make magick. But it's hard work and you have to be dedicated. Start out by reading everything, good and bad that's been published. There are loads of books on the market and they are nearly all available through your local library. Take that which speaks to your heart and discard the rest. I'd advise you to start out by discovering what the seasonal celebrations are all about, what their symbolic meanings are. You don't have to have a huge party. Just light a candle in an approprate colour and meditate on what the seasons mean to you. read about the full moon and then go and sit out in your garden if you have one on the next full moon and burn some incense to the Lady. That's a good place to start. Have fun. I find that witches laugh a lot.Bright BlessingsMoonwytch |

Hi,I’m not al that convinced about books, as a source, many who really practice seem to go against the concept of commercialising things by writing books to sell, also some say that they are responsible for all harm they do so cannot share powerful knowledge with those who might use it to harm others.Take a look at www.book-of-shadows.org, hope I have spelt it right, and the sites that you can access from here. I have heard that Aqua is taking on a small number of trainees to train as powerful witches, not as a part of the water witches but one of the other groups he is the leader of, I think it’s the wicca-power one, but no one will tell me much about what’s on. many of the witchcraft orders have gone underground, concerned about the fundo Christian lot Bush/Blair and others who destroy anything that’s not what they believe in, so emails to most groups now just gets an auto response saying the mail is not being forwarded for now. You can still however get to Aqua sometimes by emailing wwaqua@aol.com, and he does often reply, may be worth a try if you are desperately serious, and want to devote you life to the craft rather than just having ten minutes fun..I hope this helps |

I found that if you are ready to even consider becoming a witch, then you have already been chosen! It chooses you when the time is right. There is one slight hicup in lifes natural selection, once a witch always a witch.First read books, lots of books! get into everybody elses points of view and get completly confused. If you survive this strange time and dont run away to be constantly hasseled by the life force for that decision for the rest of your life. Then you will realise that all the books in the world from black to white, from beginner to advanced dont amount to anything. true witchcraft comes from the heart, the soul, the advanced mind stretching the bounds of every day consciousness and physical reality. If you need a spell for something then look around where you are and see what you can use, feel the natural impulse inside tell you the many correspondences. but remember everything is linked, so anything indeed can mean everything you could imagine. the true spirit of the cfaft now comes alive and at first fear will pass through you as the barriers come crashing down. then once again if you survive a great sense of power will fill you , you will be able to feel everything around you like a extra limb. this is the sensation of witchcraft enlightenment and words cannot describe it. I speak form personal experience. not to brag, the craft surpases ego! the powers have told me to write this for you and if you read this then you to have been chosen by the same power. more than your life will open ,the univrse will become you. i wish you luck on your journey, can you feel them they are watching you.yon huri (friend) |

I have been reading through the school-of-witchcraft sight, and have found it most interesting, tres bonne sight, but it stops working at the Coven Roles section, which is a really shame. I've e-mailed the address and there's no reply, reading this has made me annoyed that the aforementioned reason is to blame which is just stupid. I only hope they fix it, it is a really good tool and a shame if it doesn't work properly. |
