Please post notes about Des Moines area dance halls. I know about Lake Robbins, and Miss Kitty's; but are there other places that are a good place to go? |

Eagles Club #109 has a nice wood dance floor, I would guess about 900 to 1000 sq ft. Sometimes it gets smokey but they usually have a variety of bands on weekends. 6567 Bloomfield Rd, Des Moines, IA 50320; phone 515-285-6455 |

Des Moines Ballroom Dance Studio has a DJed dance every Friday from 8-10pm for only $2 per person. It is a 2000 square foot floor and the play mostly ballroom dance music (including swing and salsa) and other music on request http://www.DesMoinesDance.org |

Des Moines Ballroom Dance Studio also has a line dance party once a month....usually the 3rd or 4th Saturday of the month. Check the calendar for exact dates. Smoke free environment + snack potluck. Lesson included! Lot's of fun!! http://www.desmoinesdance.org/37.html |
