As you know I list dances at several of these private (or not so private clubs). But I must admit that it’s gets rather confusing. I learn of most of these dances on band websites or schedules and if they say private, I don’t list them. If they don’t indicate anything, or if they say ‘members and invited guests (M&IG), I go ahead and list them. But sometimes people get turned away. So, PLEASE CALL AHEAD before going to these clubs. Maybe some of you could let us know what the policies are at some of these clubs. |

I know the Eagles at Grinnell, whenever they have a band, is USUALLY a public dance. Osceola Eagles have ads in the local paper advertising there Saturday night dances. Dave |
