This message is from Ras Iral: Rastafari Greetings to Ras Nathaniel and all other Rases who shall be reading this correspondence. Perfect Love in the name of H.I.M. Haile Selassie 1st, Jah Rastafari. Firstly, I must say that from what I and I have read emanating from I.R.I.E.over the past year or so has made a lot of sense and in I and I opinion is worthy for consideration as a feasable developmental strategy towards the repatriation of I and I Rastafari nation. I and I would however like to refer to the paragraph in your recent e-mail which begins with the words ''Ras Bongo Spear .....''and concludes ''returned to Abba Janhoi''.Much of what is written in this paragraph is far from the truth and brings into question the sources of information of I.R.I.E. To include hearsay and dubious events into an otherwise positive attempt to record the chronology of Rastafari conventions/gatherings,is not going to give the pioneers of a Rastafari Global Government much credibility.It might have been more professional, Ras Nathaniel, if the I could have contacted I and I in Barbados directly or the brethren/sistren of the C.R.O. to clarify those misconceptions which have been spoken around the region and beyond by some who possess great egos and self -importance. In 1997 when we attended the IRGC convention in St. Croix, all of us returned to our respective islands to reason on the acceptable time for hosting an international Rastafari conference in Barbados the following year.This proposal had been initiated outside of the region and the majority of Rases in the Caribbean were only hearing of it for the first time while in St. Croix. After preparatory meetings and letters to houses/mansions in the Eastern Caribbean islands to decide on the agreed-on date were held and exchanged, the consensus was August as the acceptable time since families could more easily attend as opposed to November.It was the Barbados Rastafari Working Committee supported by brethren and sistren from other islands in the region that organised the August conference in 1998, not ORI. It is total fabrication to say that there was a power struggle for UN consultative status amongst I and I. In fact in St.Croix, a number of names of Rases, qualified to assist Africa Hall ( the NGO that had secured UN consultative status prior to 1997) in lobbying and advocacy skills,had been given to Bongo Spear to consider but he did not respond to the proposal. Concerning the funding for a sustainable organic farming project at College Land,St.John, Barbados in 1996, Ras Ian and Bongo Spear withdrew their services and support for various reasons.Bongo Spear wanted the funds to purchase a tractor which the UNDP staff said would have consumed the majority of the funds and Ras Ian was about to be incarcerated and phased himself out of the project.Eventually, Ras Mike Hinkson, Ras I-Chloe, Ras I-Ron Alleyne and I, Ras Iral Jabari, became the principal admanstrators of the project named the ''Kornerstone Organic Farm ''.It was at that time agreed that any phase two of that project could be replicated at other lands identified such as Jackson,St.Michael( Bongo Spear's land). Ras Nathanial, I and I do not know if the I was present in Jamaica at the Global Reasoning in July 2003 where the contributtion by CRO delegates was well acknowledged and raspected. I and I are sure that the skills of lobbying and advocacy, identifying the organisational structures needed for governance at local, regional and international level, the regular gathering from island to island over the years to discuss topical issues amongst Rastafari from all mansions,the affiliation with other African NGO's which have reparations with repatriation among their main objectives, and above all the brotherly and sisterly love , i-nity and togetherness experienced during our gatherings confirms that H.I.M.'s will is being achieved. I and I pray that this brief clarification can be taken in good faith by the I ,Ras Nathaniel, as I and I look to the immediate future with confidence and raspect to all who embark on the works of the Most HIGH Haile Selassie 1st. I was not present and do not know what happened. The I is correct, I should have emailed the I first. I apologize to the I and to CRO. It was not my intention to sully the reputation of CRO and I am not taking no sides in this matter, if, indeed, there are "sides". I give thanks for the manner in which the I has responded and corrected I. Rastafari. I give thanks that the I has had a forum to present the I testimony and pray that the TRUTH be revealed and I&I&Inity achieved. Ras Iral, can the I give I&I any more information about the UN Consultative status? What did it mean to I&I then and now? Who had responsibilities and what were they? What was accomplished in the eight years? Is there a record of communications? Do I&I still hold consultative status, and if so, through what agency? What must I&I learn from the experience? As far as the very serious message: What would it take to get all I&I Rastafari Organizers to actually work on a single centralizing project such as IRIE has proposed? After all the volumes of information IRIE has been posting, IRIE has received very little response as to the actual details and mechanics of conducting a Repatriation Census or coordinating various national Rastafari Conventions/Plebiscites. Its as if no one believes that I&I could actually do it. IRIE has tried to get the STAR ORDER PLAN on the agenda of various conferences including the Global Reasoning, and has asked for endorsements (or at least some kind of reasoning) from various organizations, including CRO, but as of yet, none except the Organization of African American Rastafari Unity (OAARU) has responded. So I wonder, what other comprehensive Repatriation plans and centralizing proposals/frameworks are out there or are I&I just neglecting it? Furthermore, it seems to I as though most people do not feel the need or urgency of tackling such a project in the next 1,254 days. I think this may have to do with the fact that Rasses outside of America may not overstand what is actually happening inside America. Those of us born and living inside "the superpower nation" are in great danger. THERE IS A HIGH TERROR ALERT, THERE IS A SITUATION WHERE ANYONE WHO HAS ANY DEBT CAN BE RED-FLAGGED AT THE AIRPORT AND PREVENTED FROM FORWARDING TO AFRICA. IT IS AMERICA THAT IS MAKING ENEMIES AROUND THE WORLD, VIOLATING HIS IMPERIAL MAJESTY PRINCIPLES OF COLLECTIVE SECURITY. THEY ARE TAKING THE WORDS "ONE NATION UNDER GOD" OUT OF THEIR PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE, THEY HAVE MOVED THE TEN COMMANDMENTS STATUTE (SYMBOL OF GOD'S LAW) FROM ITS FEDERAL COURTS, THEY ARE MAKING HOMOSEXUAL MARRIAGES LEGAL . . . . I know what it is to "migrate" there and I am saying verily, of a truth, anyone who thinks that they can personally buy a ticket and go to Africa and heave a sigh of relief is sadly mistaken. I don't want to MOVE without ALL OF I&I IDREN AND SISTREN, because it is going to take great numbers of I&I to actually build a model city. So what would be the point of going there in just a small group insufficient for building the model city? The truth of the Reality of Rasses in Ethiopia and elsewhere in Africa is that short of full-scale Repatriation, I&I will fail I&I mission. HIM said FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION. Think about it. 1,254 days to the Ethiopian Millennium. The start of the 21st Century in Africa! The King of Kings and Lord of Lords Conquering Lion of Judah Came to America exactly 50 years ago and told America what she must do to prevent catastrophe. America is not heeding HIM words. I DON'T WANT TO BE HERE WHEN THAT CATASTROPHE COMES TO AMERICA.. ALL THAT SUFFERING IN AFRICA IS COMING TO AMERICA, IN FACT DOUBLE. IN OUR LIFETIME, IN OUR CHILDREN AND CHILDREN'S LIFETIME. THE PLAGUES CAN'T HAPPEN IN 2004 CAUSE ITS A JUBILEE YEAR. BUT WHAT ABOUT 2005, 2006, 2007 . . . . WHO WANT TO BE HERE THEN? I HAVE EXPERIENCED ETHIOPIA. I CAME OUT OF THE DREAM, BUT I NOT RUNNING FROM AFRICA, EITHER. So for I&I in America at this time there is only two choices: either get the Rastafari Family Worldwide organized and centralized and get out of her now, or suffer her plagues, having failed to separate I&I from her sins. I&I SIMPLY DON'T HAVE ANY OTHER CHOICES. Diverting I&Iself ain't gonna save us. Migrating ain't gonna save us. Obeying the father's will and command to come out of her and to build a model city in Shashemane will save I&I. So as a Ras in America sighting up what time it really is, and being under His Imperial Majesty Jubilee Grace, and fully desiring to finish the unfinished business of Repatriation, I have sought answers to the Repatriation questions and all who seek shall find and ALL will sooner or later see that I&I will have to take a Repatriation Census. Only, Rasses in America can't wait for everyone else to come to this conclusion -- so I&I is showing the Rastafari Family how to organize and centralize. The first step is to sight the need for a Census. Once I&I accept that then I&I can figure out the details of how to do it and then get it done. Even if that's the only thing accomplished in the next five years, that will be a great accomplishment for I&I. I man have to move forward now. I give thanks for this time for reasoning. Rasponse from Ijahnya Christian to Ras Nathaniel: In the Name and Service of His Imperial Majesty Haile Selassie I Blessed and Bountiful RasTafari Love Ras Nathaniel I and I as Iver give thanks for the I word sound which edifies and strengthens more times. I have been out of the loop for the last strong engaged in work in Trinidad & Tobago and I am just catching up on email so I may have missed something in this exchange. However, I am moved to write with just a word on the Caribbean Rastafari Organisation in which I serve as a member. I was not present at the St. Croix gathering in 1977 but in the reporting from that I was informed of another to be held the following year in Barbados and commited to fullticipating in that especially since I had missed St. Croix. A little later into the process, came the awareness that two dates were being proposed and correspondence came forth to I in Anguilla asking for a decision regarding most suitable date - the choice being August or November. On the sole basis that August was the time that my two then school-aged sons would be free to trod to this gathering, I chose August and to my utter dismay has since then been cast into the "August" camp. This is something I have always rejected vehemently as a sister who has never been in any other camp but that of Rastafari and who left the rich Itality of a St.Kitts trod and learnt at the feet of I and I esteemed Patriarchs, more specifically Ras Boanerges and Bongo time. There was an Iwa when I slept sometimes literally in the gates of the Bone as the teaching and learning was endless and occasionally he would visit my one room as a student at Mona to make sure that being at "U blind" did not limit my vision of RasTafari. The I can therefore imagine the pain at allegations of being against the Nyahbinghi Order which in my head has a role and status that is unquestionable. To this day, and it is well-known, no one can describe the CRO in any anti-Nyahbinghi way in my hearing as I have taken such utterances personally. I am not sure of all the details as there is always some "ism" rearing its head at the national level but Ras FrankI and a number of I and I of what emerged to be CRO also trod forward and fullticipated in the November gathering. It was only a financial constraint that kept I away from that also. Even before that, it was also I who guided Bongo Spear and the elder at the UN SIDS Conference in Barbados in 1994 (where I was overjoyed to see the Patriarch), as to how to seek recommendation (that is the process required), through an organisation known as the Caribbean Policy Development Centre (CPDC) as the first step for accreditation to observe in the Conference and later to seek accreditation and engage in the process for consultative status with ECOSOC at the UN. Beyond that, it was only through reports received in various ways that I became aware of the representation by Afrika Hall and the trods on which Bongo Spear accommpanied Bongo Wattu. I am also aware that the process of representation was not considered satisfactory as information was not being widely shared but I cannot speak about this first hand so will say no more. The Patriarch's presence at the SIDS Conference was also tied to a very significant momant in my personal trod as a daughter of His Majesty for later that year, during a visit to the new tabernacle in St. Vincent, when Ras Boanerges asked me to give a report on the Conference, I was so surprised to be asked to speak in the tabernacle that I had to ask him again, to be sure that I had overstood correctly. You cannot imagine my joy as a sistren. The I is doing excellent works Idren but please be careful to verify information received from all the I sources as the old dragon does and will continue to target I and I sons and daughters of His Imperial Majesty. While I and I know that detractors will not prevail and I and I can rest assured of the victory of good over evil, I sincerely hope and will be urging the CRO Secretariat to respond to this account so that the record can be clear. I am not sure if the I is aware of the ridiculous proportions to which this version of events has reached. I myself was not aware until sometime last year when I was accused by a breddren of the murder of Elder Sam Brown by virtue of being at the August 1998 Conference in Barbados. I really hope that there can be some other clarifying responses to this mischief that may be intended to, but will not diminish the work of the Caribbean RasTafari Organisation. I and I methods are not perfect and the organisational resources are seriously limited - this is mainly why the I has not yet received an organisational response from the CRO to the I initiatives. However, to belittle and promote some kind of revisionist slander will keep I and I back when as the I rightly urges, serious and pragmatic approaches to centralisation are required to take I and I forward to I and I Mother at this critical Iwa.
