In 1853 the ship Standard arrived in SA with a McNamara family on board. Father John 38 yrs, wife Bridget 36yrs, Son Dennis 12yrs,son James 10yrs, Dau. Mary 8yrs, son Thomas 4yrs, and born on voyage dau. Catherine.Also on board were two single persons Bridget 18yrs and John 16yrs I am trying to treace these two single persons as I believe they may have been the oldest children of this McNamara family. The boy John was indented to a Mike Kenny. the girl is simply listed as a farm hand. Any clues appreciated.
