My brother died Sunday and my narcissist mother is all exciting, planning the funeral as if it were a wedding. In this wedding so to speak, the bride is dead so the mother will be the center of attention. |

I was dreading going to this funeral anticipating some garbage from either my mother or father, as I got fed up with their mean spirited games 7 years ago and we have not been on speaking terms. After finding out from my brothers that mom is acting like this is a wedding, in which of course, she will be the center of attention...my brother's casket will just be a prop...acting like she's greiving. She's quite good at pouring on the tears after many years of pretending to be the victim. Unbelieveable! |

I have seen that before ,an N that turned a funeral into a one woman show with her as the star ,it is very painfull for the family.it would not do any good to tell her what you think but it might make you feel better .. |
