Angel. A.J.C |

Hello Llanito, I have been on your website a number of times, and enjoy it time and time again. I read a bit about what the Gibraltarians had to go through, and can only say I do sincerely hope that you people will be successful in your struggle against the Spanish claim. Why you get so little assistance from the UN is beyond me, I think they should well be supporting your right to self-determination. I was very touched by your words in memorium to your late brother, and though I didn't know him or yourself I feel very sad especially after having read the circumstances that lead to his death. I have visited Gibraltar several times and absolutely loved it every time. Unfortunately I don't think I will have an opportunity to go there this year, but when I feel down I look at the sunny Gibraltar pictures on your website, and that usually makes me cheer up a little. Wish you had lots more of them, and I also wished you could from time to time add photos of the many new developments, so that even from far I can see how Gibraltar is changing. I also would have loved to see a lot more of your recommendations in the Books on Gibraltar section, I find the history of how the Gibraltarian has evolved very interesting, and what their lives was like on the Rock with all the restrictions and closed border etc, and would love to read much more about individual stories, or stories of Gibraltarian families, past or present. For example, the last book I enjoyed very much was the autobiography of Joe Gaggero, if there are any similar books available I would love to know about them. Anyway, thank you very much for this wonderful website, I have enjoyed it very much. Best regards JG |
