What's happening in Gibraltar,what's wrong with my fellow country-men/women,don't they realise that our Chief Minister has commited TREASON against our country.The so called HISTORIC "CORDOBA AGREEMENT" is the worst deal I have ever seen.Let me start by saying that I have voted for the GSD in the last three elections,but never in those three elections was I told that we would have to give concessions to SPAIN!!!THIS IS WHAT OUR CHIEF MINISTER HAS NOW DONE. For the first time in our History our Chief Minister has admitted that the Sovereignty of Gibraltar is a Bilateral issue between the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Spain.In other words he has admitted that we have no say in the DISPUTE OVER OUR HOMELAND!!Ironic for a Chief Minister who barely 3 years ago in the lead-up to the "Referendum against joint-sovereignty" was shouting to the whole world that "The sovereignty of GIBRALTAR was neither for SPAIN to CLAIM,nor for BRITAIN to give away".I guess he will never be able to use that argument again.This point alone should be enough for the people of Gibraltar to not only reject this treaty but to call for Caruana's immediate resignation. I will not delve into the Airport aggreement today,let me just say that if going through Spanish controls in our Airport is not a concession then what the Hell is it!!! Wake up Gibraltar before its to LATE!!!! |
