Hey, I was just lookin around for professor longhair sites cause ive been learning some of his piano songs. They are really a lot of fun to play. Some are pretty tough too. He's really inspired me to start learning blues piano. Just thought id drop a message. |

Andy, Are you you using any tapes, videos, etc., to help you. Sounds like you may be an accomplished player. I'm a near beginner, but I'd like to learn. Can play some ragtime and classical. |

I've been tryin' too. I fooled around on the piano over the years, then decided to get a litle more serious about it a couple of years ago. My dream was to play Tipitina, but I never thought I could pull it off. I bought the sheet music, and though I don't read music well at all, I've been picking away at it. I can play the intro now and am getting into the vocal part. I can't imagine singing it and playing it at the same time. What a beautiful tune. |
