HiI used to live at the Lugger with my family in about 1987, my parents were the landlords at the time I was 9. We lived there for about 2 years I think. I heard a couple of years ago that the place had pretty much fallen down, so was amazed to see the resortation work done on the pub and the old barn. One thing I will never forget about the place is the, lets say, otherworldly visiters that were quite frequent throughout our time there. I even have a photo taken in the lounge of a spooky foot coming down from the window sill! My parents told me years later that they were actually informed by the previous landlords on the day they took over, that the place was really haunted! I would be really interested to hear if you have had any experiences yourselves or if any of your guests have. I still get shivers thinking about it sometimes!!Well done for doing what you have, the place looks fantastic!!
