One of TV's 'hottest shows' at the moment is The OC, an American teen based drama that is arguably a cut above it's many contemporaries although essentially still easy, mindless viewing with a cast that is extemly easy on the eye. By comparison one of the most notable of the neverending stream of loan/insurance/personal injury adverts that currently dominate the commercial breaks on the majority of cable based channels is the one for Ocean Finance which features possibly the ugliest ensemble of misfits I've ever seen. the question is, will it be the OC or the OF that will leave a greater mark on society as we know it?
