Hey Stoners, I wanted to tell you about this cool lil’ indie film I produced called KUSH. It just came out on dvd last week & you should all check it out! This movie is revolutionary! KUSH follows two kids with a bad and loving influence in King (Atherton), their father figure, an old school pot dealer who entrusts the business to his adopted son Dusty (Roberts). Through his biological son, Christian King (Erwin), we gain insight to a teenager fervent to prove himself, whose shortsighted behavior will have dire results for all. We follow as Dusty tries to manage Christian and the operation, while managing plenty of other things with Blaise (Lenz). She is constantly plotting to be first string in every facet of his life, while busy elsewhere putting the screws to her clients (Duval, Feldman). Friendship, drugs, money, family, loyalty and untimely death become subjects of exploration in this film. Edgy slang and a subversive culture carry a story about growing up on the ‘good’ side of town. The KUSH cast is HOT!
