Patrick's parents were John McNamara and Ann Hayes marr Ballarat 1868. They were farmers and I would imagine that to be at Donald or Culgoa. John died at Witchyproof [witchypool] and was buried at Ballarat. He obviously had strong ties to Ballarat but I don't think he farmed there. The tie to Witchyproof and Culgoa and Donald is the children farmed in these areas. John and Ann lived at Dead Horse when they were married at Ballarat. I have no idea where Dead Horse is. Mike |
