I am researching Michael McNamara who married Catherine Hogart(h) in 1855. He was 48 years of age, from Clare and so was born about 1816. His parents were listed as Michael and Catherine Hogan.They had three children, two who died early. Michael John was born in 1863 in Grassy Flats, Bendigo.I found an entry in Kew Asylum in 1882 which shows a Michael being admitted. He was 65 years from Clare (b about 1817)and a labourer. In the index it reads "Cath McNamara Ace Creek Sandhurst No means". Then I obtained the death certificate for 1883 when Michael had died and an inquest was held. However there are no personal details. It has to be the same person but not sure if it the Michael that I am looking for. I will order the inquest during the week.I hope someone is researching this family.RegardsSue
