Hi,My grandfather was Francis Kenneth McNamara (m. Edith Amy Stafford) and he was a school teacher/principal in the Randwick/Coogee area around the 1900s. They had three children that I am aware of: Joseph Kenneth b. 1905, Gladys ? b?, and Jeanne (Jean) Ida b. 1914 (my mum).Does anyone have a connection to this Francis? He often styled his name as M'Namara. Been through NSW BDM and cannot find anything else about him - fairly certain my mum told me he had arrived from Ireland but all members of family, other than me, deceased to my knowledge, so I have no one to ask! Believe he was a Catholic (my mum found out on his death bed) but raised all the kids as High C of E. Cannot check more records in Oz because I am in Canada now. Any help appreciated.
