I am searching some family history for my wife (Annie Maloney ??? mystery, not the one in the McNamaras tree) and I have come across the McNamara site. My Aunty by marriage was a Thelma McNamara who was married to Harold Searle (of Clontarf Beach near Redcliffe in Qld), I know that she had another sister whom I have forgotten her Christian name but she was married to a Keith Peel (Brisbane). Thelma had a brother called Billy McNamara and he was married to Sylvia had 2 daughters and lived at Clontarf Beach. Billy was a WW2 digger. think they may have had another sister.I can remember as a young boy ( I am 65) old man McNamara ( the father)and where he lived in Elizabeth Ave Clontarf Beach. I believe the family lived at Clontarf Beach for a long time prior, maybe before the depression(1939).I would appreciate it if you do have any history on this family.
