Hi. Have any of you ever been able to go online and play a game with no problems? I don;t think it is possible to wait online and then connect to a partner. I;ve seen people waiting online, tried to connect, but never been able to. I;ve waited online for hours, for days. My guess is that it still doesn;t work |

To clarify the host/guest protocol, it is not possible to wait as a host online and then connect to a partner. Either one is waiting (as host) and someone will connect as the guest, or one finds a waiting host and connects to them as a guest. If one is able to attempt to connect to someone as a guest, they could not be simultaneously waiting as a host. |

I have been able to but only with someone on another computer in my own house. I give my IP address and we can play. Sometimes the games freeze though and that can be very frustrating. I no longer use the online facility because of the 'freezing' frustrations that are caused. |

The current releases should have eliminated all freezing problems under the games' control. |

I too have yet to see ANY one hosting this game? Any tips you could give? |

We believe that people drop by and leave if there are no hosts waiting. Some appear to wait as a host for a short while, then exit the game (thus removing the invitation). Most online play of the MeggieSoft Games is via private arrangement. The Find-A-Partner forum is merely offered as a service to those who might want to use it. Perhaps there are not very many. |

I am new player and and spent half day, waiting for someone to play. How does one make "arrangements"? Also play backgammon online and there is no waiting, someone is always eager to play |
