In modern rock music nowadays its unfortunate that people forgot an element that we havent heard since steve vai,eddie van halen,malmsteen,vinnie moore {well,the only ones doin it now are dream theatre-hell ya for pettrucci and the gang}and dimebag from pantera...but mtv is making carbon copys of the same ol thing.and the sad but true part is that musicians nowadays are all about look,politics,rebellion,and how cool they come accross.im not saying theres nothing good.i like sum 41,linkin park,blink,simple plan.i can appreciate simple song writing.the beetles started that way and they will always be the best songwriting band ever.but,what ever happened to making every single song you write be the best it can be?im not saying a guitar solo is the answer.but most of the modern rock out there now has 2-3 good songs and the rest are throw togethers,then again,i guess thats my opinion.anyways,i am the guitarist-singer of souther californias THE VELMA FIX.www.thevelmafix.com.go listen to abba jhande,or punk this,if your into depth in guitar playing,if your into sum 41-listen to candy or is she for real,if your into modern rock and want sumthing different.please check it out.let us know what you think.and yes.we are unsigned.sorry,my best friends brothers niece doesnt know mark,tom,and travis from blink 182.but hey.they are living their dream.thats where i wanna be.pe@ce,mike g{tvxxx} WWW.THEVELMAFIX.COM http://THEVELMAFIX.COM AMAZING UNSIGNED MODERN ROCK |
