The bamd for the ceilidh is Widdershins, a stonking local band fronted by Gillian Edwards (who also leads a capella group Henwen). They're an enormously talented group with aeons of professional playing experience between them. Their caller is Nigel Staton who is guaranteed to get ANYONE dancing. Check them out at http://www.widdershins.org.uk/band/default.htm. And DON'T miss the ceilidh!Ian

I am hopeless with dates (or any dried fruit for that matter) but seeing that the lad from byker was on the bill i thought I might make an effort this year and attend the festival. However how will i remember when it is? someone said 'write it in your dairy' but I have nt got one so I put a note in my milk bottle so it's in my milman's dairy now. I hope he remembers to remind me like he does when he wants me to pay my bill. does anyone else have some good tips?
