Hello Everyone, Here is the recap of the August 14 edition of Q94's weekly local music program, "The Backyard Rocker," which airs every Sunday night from 8 to 10 PM on WBRX 94.3 and WBXQ 94.7. Thanks to our guests this week, The Flame Sky, for an interesting two hours. We found out the latest Flame Sky happenings, and heard newly recorded tracks from group’s forthcoming full-length album, expected out next spring. We gave away a copy of The Flame Sky’s demo CD with the four new tracks to one lucky listener; in addition, we also gave away two pairs of tickets to The Underground TV’s “Music to the Masses” concert, which takes place in Titusville on Sept. 24. We updated Local Music News, reviewed Backstreet Law’s new “Frustrated” CD in “The Professor’s CD Corner” (watch for the review on Q94’s website, www.wbxq.com, later this week), and debuted new songs from Beulah Rath and Sangraal. Here is this week’s playlist: HOUR ONE: THIRD STANDARD – “Enemy” T.M.P. – “Sweet Sister” THE FLAME SKY – “B-Minor” BEULAH RATH – “Second Hand Love” THE FLAME SKY – “Only In Your Head” THE NIGHTCRAWLERS – “Latin Groove” THE FLAME SKY – “Woodcutter” SANGRAAL – “White Rain” HOUR TWO: ANYTHING JANE – “Novocain” THE FLAME SKY – “The Price You Pay” BACKSTREET LAW – “What’s Wrong With My Head” THE FLAME SKY – “Alright” THE FLAME SKY – “And Eventually” Next Sunday night, our guests will be Huntingdon rockers Anything Jane.
