read that a URSS 305 driver was seriously burned at 81 speedway. hate to hear that. wish him a speedy recovery. what happened?also a question - with the Steve King Foundation race in Jetmore this weekend. what races exactly will Garry Lee Maier run this weekend? I ask because of fantasy league picks for the racetrack here in OKC. Will he just run the NCRA race? or will he run both ASCS races this weekend? or maybe OKC friday and Jetmore Saturday? lookin for some sort of factual confirmation. thanks in advance. |

From the URSS Forum as posted by Rick Salem, URSS Promoter:I just talked to Justin and he is going to have some grafts done tomorrow and should be out and home by Thursday. He has some burns on his ankle, wrist and on his butt where the holes were in his seat. He is excited about how good he was running and anxious to get back. There is a lesson to be learned here. These are real race cars and things can happen. Don't take these things lightly and Make sure your safety equipment is the best you can get. |
