Hi folks,Being a subscriber of Netvigator (PCCW) I confim that the ban on visiting www.ntscmp.com did happen on last Fridays, last Saturday and today morning. How long this malpractice has been happened? I have no idea.I was not aware of www.ntscmp.com until this incident exposed on Apple Dail Newspage. I'll continue visit this website from now onwards. If the server of www.ntscmp.com was not down and can be visited by Hong Kong citizens not using Netvigator nor HGC broadband service nor their 56k dialup service as well as by visitors outside Hong Kong, it is the responsibility of the ISP, Netvigator and HGC.It is a very basic technique on computer networking to ban certain websites from being visited. Just setup a simple policy on masquerading. That is all, easy and straightward. It can be done in 1/2 (one/two) minutes. If Netvigator and HGC are clever enough, possesing knowledge on advanced computer technology, they can setup DDoS or similar attack on the server of www.ntscmp.com. No visitors either in Hong Kong or outside Hong Kong can visit www.ntscmp.com. Its website will be banned globally. The server is still running correctly and strongly but the traffic is completed blocked by thousands of computer visiting its site simultaneously. I doublt Netvigator and HGC having this knowhow and ability. But their finance are strong enoungh. They can hire a Russian or an Indian hacker to do this job for them.Complaint has been made to OFTA. OFTA should take a postive move investigating this malpractice which breaks the condition of service. Equally it is illegal against the relevant Hong Kong regulations.
