We are restoring a historic home build about 1842. We have removed 6 layers of paper from the dining room, and found a cloth sheeting as the original paper backing. The walls are wooden planks. What type of lining would you suggest? We have heard everything from muslim, broadcloth to canvas. Any suggestions offered would be appreciated. |
