It is Friday, May 6, and we are in the middle of our annual three day conference. It is good to see so many members from across the entire state, and to meet new members. I've been getting positive feedback about the conference. I hope everyone who attended will let me know what they think needs to continue and/or change for future conference. Let me hear from you. |

I hope your conference was on reform throughout the state on how DHS goes about deciding when and why to remove children from their parents and homes. This system has only hurt my family and many other families I have spoken with at foster parent meetings. I thought the idea was to get families back together, not tear them apart and keep them apart for as long as you can. |
