Pinholeman is an old superhero who has been around since before all this new technology stuff these days. Follow his adventures here and try to solve the challenge that is presented. Challenge 1. Superman can stop a speeding bullet. Pinholeman (a super hero that was around well before superman was leaping over his crib in a single bound) can stop a speeding bullet too? As a matter of fact, Pinholeman finds that speeding bullets are actually rather sluggish compared to what he is used to. How does he do it? http://www.pinholedoug.com |

Challenge 2. Superman (yeah superman again) can lift an elephant and turn it upside down without much trouble but "Pinholeman" (Pinholeman is an old super hero that never really got much attention) can flip it without any effort at all. How does he do it? Aside: Pinholeman secretly does not have much respect for superman. It's not just because he gets all the attention. Challenge 3: Pinholeman and Superman are having lunch together and Superman orders the frog-legs because it is the special of the day. Pinholeman is secretly disgusted but as usual tries to remain positive. Superman is irritated by all the people in the restaurant and complains like he always does. Pinholeman is used to this but the frog-legs have put him over the top so he speaks up... "What are you talking about, supermanc this restaurant is empty." Superman can't believe his ears. The place is completely packed and he tells Pinholeman exactly that. Pinholeman responds, "I am telling you the place is completely empty and I am willing to bet on it. If you win the bet I will pay for those horrible things you are eating, but if I win you will set me up on a date with Lois Lane on Friday night. Superman isn't to sure he likes the conditions of the bet but he is sure to win so he agrees... Pinhole and Lois had a wonderful time on Friday night. How did Pinholeman prove nobody was in the room? Challenge 4: Pinholeman is in the hospital visiting his long time friend, Ortho-chromatic-man. According to the police Ortho ran a red light and crashed his truck (dodge) into another car (Lumina). Only his pride was really hurt. "This is the tenth time I have run a red light... when will I learn?" Pinholeman was very understanding and told Ortho not to worry. "It really isn't your fault!" Why did Pinholeman tell him it wasn't his fault? Answer the riddle in this topic. For All Saints students I have an additional challenge. Go home and make a latent image for your teacher with the answer on it. Tell your teacher that you have answered the riddle but the image is not yet visible... make him figure it out. Challenge 5: Dr. Absorbo is up to his evil tricks again. His victimsc grade 8 high school teachers in Sacred Heart. His willing participantsc the grade 8 students. Dr. Absorbo has created a secret formula that absorbs 99.9999 % of all light. He has sprayed the students and the classrooms so that virtually all the light is absorbed. The teachers take attendance and the students respond but the teacher canft see themc there c but not therec perfect. The teachers are at a lossc what do we do?... Call Pinholeman! (If you are unsure of who Pinholeman is, hefs a superhero that has been around for years but never really got along with other superheroes (he kind of liked Flash Gordon) so he never became all that popular) Pinholeman calmly enters the classroom. gNo problemc time is on my side!h How will Pinholeman find a way to expose these students and foil Absorbofs evil plot? http://www.pinholedoug.com |
