It's not too late to jump into the LizardTech-sponsored beta program, if you are just hearing about it now. Mike Rosen from LizardTech made this invitation on 10/15/03: Dear DjVu User, If you are receiving this letter, you expressed an earlier interest in beta-testing Lizardtech’s Document Imaging products. Thank you for you interest. Next week (10/20/03), we expect to release two products for external testing: the DjVu Browser Plugin v4.5 and the first external release of the DjVu IFilter. The Browser Plugin includes a scriptable interface and performance improvements. The IFilter allows MS Index Server-based products to search across collections of DjVu documents that contain a hidden text layer. We expect the Beta period to run for approximately one month (including 2 or 3 releases) but we may adjust this based on your feedback. Do you have friends / colleagues who are knowledgeable DjVu users? Feel free to forward this email to them! Please reply to this message (betacoord@lizardtech.com) to confirm that you would like to participate. Thanks for your participation.
