To all especially POEA official. I would like to tell this story and gain help also from you guys.
We have a friend name Mary ann Marzan Lacanlale, who had multiple debt from the bank and from all her friend here in UAE. She promised to pay us as soon as she came back from her annual leave,that she's gonna top Up her loan. Before that she's horribly crying begging for our help. Stating that police wants to put her on jail due to unpaid credit card, where in she's paying it but the problem is it's not reaching the bank for 5-6mos according to her.So went in the police station ask for help but the police hold her passport and doesn't want to give back not unless she will pay it back. We are hesitant to lend her but the fact that we knew that she have been a good friend to us for less than 2years we agreed. She's telling the same reason why she needs the money plus the fact that she wants to see her son in RP. She came back from leave and reported to work for 3days then again she's horribly crying saying her grandmother is dying, she asked for Emergency leave and it was granted last June 23, 2008 (7-10days). From thwn she didn't communicate with us, I tried to call her but she's not answering the phone. ! day she texted me saying she'll come back by JUly 4, will join duty by july5, then she didn't came.. till teh tme that she's not even sending any text. So we decided to asked 1 of our friend who's living on the same area with her and we have found out that she's still there in RP. We let her know that we will going to BLother her from that time she started again communicating with us, she even called our Nurse Supervisor (july20/21) telling about the reason why she didn't reported on duty and had promise to come back by july26. but she told us she will come back by july31.. So we have waited for her she's even calling us.. but then again she didn't show up we tried to call her mobile number but it is already switch off.. We tried to find any contact details in her room, but we havfound out is she had already a maximum loan from the bank and some bills.. thus she lied to us she ca never have a trop Up because it is already maximum.. then we cannot find her documents not even one passport copy.. so it means that she had a plan for it, not to go back.. after few days their are numbers of co-OFW who are looking for her because she had borrowed money from them also...Please help us to stop this kind of gumbling.. one of her friend whom she owe 12000 AED is going to deliver this Nov., now she can't go to RP for her delivery.. the other concern people they need their money back because we are all breadwinner in the family.. her total debt is more or less 25000AED which is 250000 pesos in our money.. we are not asking for donation what we need is justice... so taht she will not do it to other co- OFW whó are working so hard and sacrificing just to give a good future for their family..
