We need to get enthused again about RED SOX baseball. Lets get back on track Sat. with a win and have a renewed excitement about our team. We are a good team if we have everyone shows up and plays in the right positions. Everyone needs to go out of there and to be there and be on time, it is hard to play everyone and even harder if you don't come regularly. We will get it all back together this weekend. Thanks, Jim

northfield, MN was a lark. i managed to embarrass
my wife at her college reunion (what do you expect
when there's free liquor and pretty alumns and
coeds; tho. none as pretty as mine of course. or the
mother of my child). had a nice visit with friends in
the twin cities as well, tho. didn't manage to find
my brother, as he's still roaming around taipei.
now posting from the spectacular town of duluth,
MN, perched on a large hill overlooking lake
superior, the largest (by surface area) freshwater
lake in the world, and second only to some
radioactive cesspool in russia in volume. (have to
salvage some wounded nationalistic pride after
today's disappointing loss to ghana in the world
cup.)
well boys, 2-1 in the last three. good work in my
absence. should i just stay away? ha ha ha! it was a
joke, really! you couldn't keep me away if you tried.
tho. this weekend i'm still in the north woods, way
up wisconsin eh, for the midwest renewable energy
association's annual energy fair, a veritable
extravaganza of energy efficiency and renewable
energy. (check out www.the-mrea.org). energy and
resource issues are critical to our environmental,
political, and national security issues (why else do
nations and indivuals rise up with arms to rape and
pillage their neighbors, external and now more
internal?)
anyhoo, back from my meanderings to the topic at
hand. keep up the fine work and take it to the
browns on sunday.
from sunny & cool duluth with love,
papa M
ps-jimmy, we don't need more pitching. we just
need to use what we have more judiciously. we
have plenty of depth and talent which is not
currently being exploited (ahem, hint hint).
