I'm sure we've all seen some pretty poorly made DVDs. You have to expect that with the no-name bargain bin variety. But have you ever been really disappointed with a major studio release? My vote would have to be for THE QUIET MAN. It was so poorly mastered that it looks as if it were made from a second generation VHS tape! http://www.reelclassicdvd.com |

Some Alpha releases also qualify. Also, I have noticed many of the new "Hal Roach" Studios DVDs claim they are from "original 35mm nitrate camera negative" If they are, I'll eat my hat.....not very remarkable transfers.... |

Wild Women of Wongo put on DVD by Something Weird Video was the worst, in my DVD viewing experiences. You have to see it to believe it. Looks like it was taken from a old VHS tape and also all the greys took on a blue hue. |

Attack force nam 2 from Synergy dvd. This one was definitely a home made job. |
