Yep, we were the last propper robins, although there were a few side projects, such as the prince charles in london and of course the old favourite, sing along a sound of music. Dave, do you know if john still does those bad boys? |

Bath Robins is where i had some of the best times in my life, i was just a baby at 16 when i started there (the youngest one there for quite sometime!) We used to have a right old laugh, dancing in the back of the screens whilst the credits were rollin' and ice creams and pizza on sundays!!! oh how i miss it, yeh we got a bit of free stuff the day robins closed, left over popcorn, we were even offered the chance to have some cinema seats, i wish i could've but no where to put it and might have been some trouble on the bus home!!! I got a robins sign from above the board from the inside foyer, its on my bedroom door...the cinema may be closed but the memories live on |

Yeah we looted the cinema for bits of memorabilia too. I have the boomerang postcard rack which makes an ideal photo display unit! Haha. As well as a screen sign and several other bits and bobs. I did notice that one of your 'Please Q here' stands turned up on Ebay recently - see link. I wouldn't part with mine cos I have the set of letters to go with it. Hours of endless fun! Haha. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=7135484118&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT |

That's really odd seeing that queue board on EBay! I'm really interested to know who the seller was. I think someone mentioned that the front Robins sign from Bath was also sold on Ebay at some point. Anyone have a link if the page still exists? |

Some interesting links there, especially the ones about the origin of the Robins name. I never had any idea where it had come from. |

I do believe that the lovely Mavis told me the story of where robins got it's name. I can't have been listening, however as i seem to have missed the interesting parts. I wonder why that was!!! |
