Hello all you ex robins folks Well you wanted to know where the name robins comes from? Well our story begins in 1995 if is the very first time i ever spoke to a bloke called Ben Freeman.Over the years i spoke to him and His dad and at burton robins.Anyhow we had a bloke called Tony who was the head projectionist from robins cinema Rugely.One day myself Tony and ben's father was just talking and i asked ?Where does the name robins come from Ben's dad said it was his wifes name and she had sadly past away.So there now you all know i hope i helped best wishes to you all. Oh do you know still in burton on trent the robins sigh still hangs at the side of the building. |
