I'm going to start off like to many others on this message board - a big thank you David for capturing this piece of history - I think it would be very sad indeed if all those years of life the cinema had were to be lost forever. Eeek! I could say so much I really don't know where to start and this box is so tiny! I spent some of the happiest days of my life at Robins from 1992-1998. I didn't get the chance to pop in often after 98 so you newbie's won't know me! ;) Nice to see I left my mark on the place till the end - amongst other things I built the shepcom telephone exchange and made the "John Clock" with the deflating mustache. I have a few pictures that may be of interest e.g. the pre-platters days
