Sarah was amazing. I attended the same art school, though I was a few years behind. I met her when she came back to SFAI to show her film and give insight on her experiance as a young filmmaker. The bravery and courage she spoke with re: making films and making it in this industry was not only inspiring but impressive. It's almost as if she shook with confidence. I say shook, because she showed a little fear, but yet, she still went steadfast into that fear, stood up and said some inspirational words. It's almost more human than speaking with total and complete confidence, because you recognize her fear as your own fear and, yet, she went forward. That was the inspiring part. She inspired me with her vulnerablity and determination and commitment to art for arts sake. So human, so funny and smart. I am truly sad that she is not with us anymore, but her bravery lives on. I can assure you of that.
