I am a survivor (brain stem injury). I am 37yrs.old and living alone (my injury was in 1998).I have outlook express operating now so I should be able to recieve messages . I now have an e-mail account set up so I should be able to communicate with the outside world.This is the first contact that Ihave made(besides my bank).I wanted to speak to someone I could relate to.I certantly hope this message gets through!!! thank you from another survivor!!! hi tim! i'm new to this message board and as a matter of fact just found it yesterday! your injury was just a few years ago...how are you doing now? i had a massive brain stem injury in 1985 and have made a miraculous recovery however, i'm at the point now that i really need a support group! i just got a condo by myself and absolutely love it but really need to communicate w/people that i can relate to. i've never been in a support group like this and think this is the coolest...:) what is the hardest thing for you to handle right now? maybe i can help and if not i'm a real good listener! would love to hear from you! cindy |
