Hi! I've got from work one of those quiz sheets that people occasionally circulate, and I can win a case of real ale (Fiddler's Elbow) if I'm the only one to get all the questions right! There are some real puzzlers though. I'm stuck on one in particular, and wondered if anybody could help. Here it is: "What is the Tony Turner problem?". I'm guessing that it's a band from the 60s, but I don't seem to be able to find anything to back that up on the Internet. Any ideas? |

Ah, the Tony Turner problem! I'm fairly sure this is something to do with a trick of the ear. Or a quirk of pronunciation. It's misinterpretation across regional accents or something like that. I know everything, me! |

What he said. I actually know somebody called Roy Turner. Oh and Fiddlers Elbow isn't a drink. It's part of a violinist's arm. Ha ha ha. |

So who played bass for them? |
