I posted this but it didn't take I guess so here is a paraphrase of Psalm 32
Good things follow the person who finds forgiveness, who can leave mistakes and failures in the past.
Happiness is not having to hide from your past or having to lie about who you are.
At first, I tried to bury my mistakes, but I feared they would be seen. I thought I could control it, but I felt so tired, stressed, impatient, unloved and unloving. It affected my moods, my health, my relationships.
When I couldn't take it anymore I decided to admit defeat. I failed and expected to be lost, and that is when You found me. I thought I was unacceptable and You made me feel accepted, even desired.
Therefore everyone should go to you while they can. When the problems of life mount you carry us over them, and when the world seems too scarey, we hide in You.
You give us wisdom and understanding that keep us from being prejudiced, and impatient.
Bad people will always have things to hide, lies to remember, struggles for power but the person who trusts God lives safely in God's grace.
Instead of grumbling about my life, my job, my friends, now relax and sing along with the radio, maybe you would like to join me!
