At work today a man came in with a brochure and it was from the Jehovah's Witnesses with an invitation to their church services on Sat. Mar 22, because they said "This year, the anniversary of Jesus' death falls on Saturday, March 22, after sundown," and they invite everyone to remember this event with them. Why do they say it's on Saturday and not Friday?

It took me a while to look this one up. But I suspected it had to do with the way in which we date things.
Some including the Jehovah's witness believe that we can pinpoint the actual day of Jesus death, rather than have it move the way we do.
Christmas is always Dec. 25. So for some Good Friday is always a fixed date, which I believe this year falls on the Saturday before Easter.
Hope that helps.
