Long story short, I came home a few months ago with a terrarium in the hopes of getting a bearded dragon. My DH, a green thumb, quickly planted air plants in the tank, in an effort to counteract his plants with my animals (a long battle in our home) I caught a toad that i named Earl and put him in the tank. 4 months later, Earl seams very healthy, loves crickets, grasshoppers and bloodworms, and is doing well. I've just learned that he is, in fact, a male since he "sings" when I rub his belly. Anyway, I think it's totally cool that other people have pet toads! http://historicmoment.wordpress.com |

Its great to know that other people actually share in my love of frogs and toads. I have two fire belly toads myself. They're a chinese bred, they're really active and great to watch. |
