Good afternoon everyone! I have bought a soling, well of sorts... Has there ever been any history of people converting solings into yachts (so to speak)? As in my boat has been completely stripped out inside to provide enough room for 2 berths and a chart table, they have left about 4 foot of cockpit (definately not enough for a crew of 3), and attached a coach roof that sits approx 1 1/2 foot above deck level... The boat has been raced in Morecambe Bay for the last couple of years, and is now based at Roa Island Boat club. I assume that this boat will now be completely out of rules, therefore I am looking on some advice on how to procede. P.S. I know this may turn out to be one hell of a project, but since the boat cost next to nothing, I couldnt resist... Liam |
