Participate in our S14 play-off pool at no cost to you! (anyone may enter!) $100.00 first prize $50.00 second prize All you need to do is pick the winners of the semi-finals and finals, provide a projected score for each match, and guess the man-of the-match for the finals. Rules: Winner will be based on who picks the winner of the final, easy enough. Tie-breakers will be based on the following: combined scores in the semi-finals (without going over) 3 points, combined score in the final (without going over) 2 points, and correct pick of man-of-the-match in the finals 1 point. (For hints on team performances go to http://www.planet-rugby.com) Here is the layout of the matches: Fri May 19 - 7:35pm GMT - NSW Waratahs (#3 seed) @ Wellington Hurricanes (#2 seed) Sat May 20 - 7:35pm GMT - Vodacom Bulls (#4 seed) @ Canterbury Crusaders (#1 seed) Please outline your picks in the following fashion (these are mine): Semi-Final #1: Hurricanes over the Waratahs 24 - 17 Semifinal #2: Crusaders over the Bulls 38 - 12 Finals: Crusaders 27 - Hurricanes 12 - Man-of-the-match - Dan Carter Please e-mail your picks to me or post them on the 'Ville message board. Hurricanes 16 - Waratahs 14 Nobody earned bonus points in the first heat, being that everyone guessed over. The closest would have been Deanna (although she picked the 'Tahs) with 38, followed by Jaim from Keene State who had a combined score of 40. Things will surely transgress after the 'Saders v. Bulls match. P.S. the 'Saders don't lose at the Jade Stadium |

Crusaders 35 - Bulls 15 1 person picked 50 points exactly! Crusaders will host the Hurricanes at the Jade next weekend. |

Crusaders 19 - Hurricanes 12 Danny Carter scored 14 for Canterbury, however with his devastating counters, Crusaders full-back Leon MacDonald earned man-of-the-match honors. The tally of the pool is being handled by a seperate company and winners will be revealed on Tuesday. Go 'Saders!!! |

Finals are in... DS nailed everything to a tee to take first----- however a very special prop from Keene State University guessed the lowest on the points (in the final) to earn second place. You go, Jaime.... money is in the mail.... |
