Documents reveal WWII members of Engineer units were awarded the CIB.General Truscott, Jr. recommended members of the 36th be awarded the CIB according to a letter dated 30 July 1944.Attempting to locate members that received their CIB to justify personnel that fought as infantrymen during the Battle of the Bulge is awarded same. |
