My grandmother side is Cherokee. Lona Clevenger My grandmother Lona Clevenger Puckett Freeman (dead) had a cousin Lana I was told was her twin sister (dead). To my knowledge one of my Cherokee grandfathers was an Indian chief I was told. Also my great grandmother down the line had 13 children. My grandmother I was told was a twin. I have heard bits & pieces about this & that where I don’t know all the truth. My grandmother was half. I have always wanted to know the Cherokee side but my mom didn’t know much & I did not grow up around my grandmother. She lived in Springfield, Oh and I lived in TX. I heard they have Cherokee’s in Kentucky also. My grandmother had 3 children that lived: Glenn Puckett/ Betty Lou / Sara … My Uncle Glenn once if I remember lived in Utah and was in some Indian counsel he said when I was very young. I would like to know more if I can. Thank you for your time: Brenda
