The family is trying to raise at least $3500 so...Chayton can be admitted to the hospital. The family is hosting a fundraiser in Austin on May 17...Please join us in helping raise funds to pay for Chayton's surgical procedures; this benefit will take place on May 17, starting at 8am till 11am for Breakfast and then 12pm till 6pm for lunch...This benefit will take place at: El Leon... ..1910 East Cesar Chavez St..Austin, TX...Breakfast Plate [Menduo, 2 Barbacoa Tacos] $7.00 and Lunch Place $7.00 [3 Crispy Tacos, Rice, Beans]......Our Powwow community is encouraged to support the fund raiser or send a monetary donation to help Chayton... He is Keetoowah Cherokee and dances at the Austin Powwow, the United San Antonio Powwows, TIHA and other area powwows... Monetary donations in cashiers check or money order can be mailed (payable to Elena Hoskins) to 307 Katherine Way, Leander, Texas 78641...Other fund raisers are being planned; information will be forwarded as it becomes available...All of us are very honored and proud to have Chayton dancing in the circle... Our Young Warrior Update: A great big Yakoke (Thanks) to all of you who helped get the funds needed to obtain the surgery for our young Warrior and Great Powwow Dancer - Three Year Old Chayton Hoskins. His friends and supporters like many of you came together in the traditional Native American way to provide the funds that the doctors wanted up front before they would perform the surgery that Chayton needs. I had the opportunity to talk to Chayton and his parents David and Elena Hoskins) at a Powwow this weekend. And they so grateful and wanted to thank everyone of you who have prayed about Chayton and helped raise the funds needed to get the surgery scheduled. They are truly grateful and they wanted each of you to know just how grateful they are for your help and the love you have showered on them and Chayton. So the Surgery has been scheduled for July 11th. So keep those prayer coming for the Hoskin family and young Chayton in particular. We want this young Warrior up and completely healed as soon as possible so that he can continue to honor us with his dancing at all the Powwows.
