Here is some of an email I received from "C.J." concerning his own sighting. "I grew up in Allen Park, Michigan. In 10th grade (1991) my friend Ray and I went out to Point Mouillee State Game Area (Near Gibraltar) to go running. While I was there I briefly (not a turned head glance, but for a few seconds, maybe 7) noticed a dark serpentine object about 10 to 15 feet long. I didn't see the head but what I saw was a series of curved "U" shaped curves sticking out of the water, moving and making a wake. It was rather thick and reminded me of those old nessie sightings, only extremely smaller. It submerged and subsequently never resurfaced. I'm not claiming it was a dinosaur or anything. It was just unlike anything I'd ever seen before or since. On a whim I typed in Michigan sea creature sightings and found your site.
