I don't really remember a whole lot from last night. I didn't sleep very well again, but I do remember one dream right before I woke up for work. Occasionally I will break in and out of a dream if I'm sleeping lightly, where I will be know that I'm in my bed at one moment then I'll return to the dream in the next, and that will go on for quite awhile. Last night was like that. Basically I was at an art/music/fashion show type of deal, and I was outside in the parking lot for the entire time I can remember. The odd thing is that the parking lot is the one from Aquila right by the tennis courts. Nothing really happened outside of me greeting the occasional person that I knew, and cars coming and going. But like I wrote above, I would break out of the dream once in a while and be conscious of where I was, then I'd slip back into the dream. However, I wasn't really aware that I was returning to the dream, so I don't think it counts as a lucid dream. For some reason those always end up being the most boring dreams, though. |

I have that situation a lot too, Phil. Especially when my alarm goes off.. when I hit snooze, sometimes I am still half-asleep and in the dream. I only had one dream last night that I could remember. It involved myself, my old boss and my current boss. We were playing a football game inside of my cube at work, but at the same time it was also inside my bedroom at home. It was a mixture of Red Rover and Smear the Queer. Basically whoever had the football had to start at one end and make it to the other end without getting tackled. Whoever had the ball also controlled what was on the videotron, except there was no videotron. My current boss wrote down all of the rules on the whiteboard in my cube, and I remember the marker being really bright. ----------------------- Did I know that I was inside of a dream? No. http://www.brokenhartentertainment.com/ |

Phil... an "art/music/fashion show?" That's nuts because on Saturday I am going to play music at a fashion show which will take place in the art center in Winona. I think your dream is a sign that you should attend, and stay in the parking lot. I tried a different tact and it worked for remembering my dreams. I slept out in the living room, on the couch. Somehow, I feel that when I can’t move around as much I have a better chance of remembering my dreams. Also, I relied on the cats to wake me up in the middle of the night. They did. Finally, I have some recollection of my dream; although I have a much more vivid feeling for the “place” of the dream than I do for the “plot.” In my dream, I was in a suburb, and I went on a journey (by foot) to the next town – I think to visit an old man, although I am not sure. In the next town, the place I was supposed to be was near a large mall-looking building, so I went inside that building instead of continuing in the direction I was supposed to go. Once inside, the building looked more like a mansion. It had a large, messy living room. Further inside, there was a laundry room. I also remember, in the dream, having the urge to get drunk at this place – sort of an “I’ve come this far – why not?” type thing. I don’t think I did, though, and that’s all I remember. This was not a lucid dream. The most obvious dream sign in this dream is a building which looks like one thing on the outside but which is something else inside; I have also noticed that I “journey” a lot in my dreams in general. |

I also didn't sleep well again as I stayed up late. I did have some really involved dreams anyway, however since I was so tired, I couldn't quite manage the strength to pick the paper and pen off of the floor by the bed and so I never recorded the details - of course, I had forgotten them when I woke up again. Perhaps I should sleep on the floor next to the paper. Or maybe I will tape the pen onto my hand and staple the paper onto the wall. It would help if I could reach the light without getting up. Before retiring for the night I could strap on one of my miner's hats with the light on the front. But I can't recall where I stored the new batteries that I bought. Did I have lucid dreams? No, I don't even have lucid awake times. http://home.att.net/~thehessians/disasterwatch.html Global Disaster Watch |
