My Daughter Katie was diagnosed with a dpg October 2, 2006 we started radiation with tumodor december 19th was her first MRI after the last dose of radiation 11-16-06. The Dr. Of Radiation oncolgy said he could not see any real changes appeared to be lots of swelling. Dr of Oncology reviewed with us said couldn't really tell when he picked apart little areas he could see changes in tumor but not growth. It would still need to be reviewed by the radiologist. before we left the the oncologist told us radilogy said there was hemmorage in the tumor that is why it was lighting up on the MRI. any one else with similar finding i n an MRI. we are going ahead with maintenance tumodor at this time we begin 1-1-07.

My granddaughter,Hannah Harpster, did experience some bleeding in the tumor. The best advice I can give you, is to try to get Katie into the National Institute of Healths research program. I don't know if St. Judes has anything going on or not. I have a daughter named Katie too. Our prayers are with you and your Katie. Love the Harpsters
