I have a GMAT score of 600(analytical writing of 5.5)and interested in a PhD in Finance. I have 7 years of teaching and some consulting experience. What are my chances of gaining admission and for which schools is my score competitive? I'm Ghanaian

Your chances are pretty strong. I would suggest that you get some strong letters from Faculty members that are well known in the Finance world. This helps sway a admission committees vote.

Hello, You may also want to call the PHD coordinator of the school(s) that interest you and let them know you are interested in a program in general and their school in particular. Different schools put different weights on the GMAT score. By talking to the coordinator, you can get a feel for the school's position and the school can get a feel for you as a potential candidate.
