I've not heard of such a joint degree offering from AACSB accredited schools. While some MBAs go on to get PhDs, the two degrees serve different purposes. The MBA is a practioner focussed degree; the PhD is an academic focussed degree. Some schools may favor a PhD applicant to have an MBA just for a command of the subject matter. There is no guarantee, however, that the school from which you would obtain your MBA would accept you as a PhD student after you have completed your MBA. |
