I have a B.S. in Marketing and a passion for finance. In order to be a successful and influential professor, do I need any work experience (because I have none) or should I go ahead and get my degrees? Also, does the school I attend have to be accredited by AASCB?

My answers to you are "No" and "Yes", respectively. Work experience helps, but as a professor, your job tends to focus on explaining theory more than practice. So, a lack of work experience does not necessarily hurt you. With respect to accreditation, that is a must. The institution from which you obtain your degree has a HUGE impact on your own credibility when you complete your program. I strongly suggest that you choose your institution wisely. Make sure it is one that has the reputation, financial support offerings, level of rigor, etc. that is right for you. Always keep in mind what you want to do with your degree upon completion in order to make the best decisions at the beginning of the process.
Good luck to you!
